ends. It is a very emotionally draining, funny, moving, evening out, and the wifes well good in it. Also, theres a play on at the Kings Head in Islington which you should go and see if you get a chance;Road to Nirvana. Its an Arthur Kopit play (won two tonys on Broadway) about two scumbag producers in Hollywood who would eat their own body parts for the deal of the century. It has all the Mamet /Tarantino style dialogue that Hollywood producers revel in, like Tony Soprano with tourettes syndrome. I have to say although I am an associate producer on it, I laughed my ass off, and I have considerable ass so this is not just some bullshit Im trying to lay on you here. Colin Macfarlane has done a great job of directing the cast, Sean Williamson (Barry from Eastenders ! Yes, that Sean Williamson )gives the performance of his life, I think. Well realised, funny and somehow truthful, Road to Nirvana is all about selling your soul for the American dream and coming back short changed. What else? Oh yeah, Im working pretty hard on the Open University course at the moment, my second short story has gone in, so Im just waiting for my appraisal if its any good, I might publish it on my web site so youll be able to see what Im getting up to in my studies. Im enjoying myself immensely, and big up to everyone in my group and my friends for enduring my endless wittering. I met up with Chris Crudelli the other day from Mind Body and Kick Ass moves on BBC3 what a great bloke! Hes from the midlands and hes a Kung fu master, gone beyond grades and belts (Kung fu isnt about belts and grades Len its about killing people, essentially ) and more than capable of pushing his fist through several concrete blocks. We talked about all sorts of things, and maybe doing a project together, so keep your eyes peeled for that. As soon as the tour dates are announced Ill let you know. Im going to LA soon to do a Richard Pryor documentary about the mans life and career. Bob Smeatons directing he did a great South Bank show about Bernie Taupin recently and I think Im gonna be hanging out with people like Paul Mooney, Lily Tomlin, Gene Wilder, Rain Pryor and so on, so wish me luck. Well keep you updated on whats going on and therell be new comedy stuff on the site very soon indeed. Keep checking up on it. Big love Len
