Where are Hugh

I take back every thing I said about Hugh Laurie missing the Poor White Trash gig last week at the Commonwealth club! He should get the Oscar for his performance in House. After receiving a Golden Globe for his nuanced and accent-perfect rendition of the troubled titular doctor, the sky is the limit. So Hugh when are you coming back, dude. The show at the Commonwealth club was awesome . The last time we were there was 8 years ago and I remember it as being a good night but this was legendary. The audience was on two levels, with the older more sedate people up stairs and the younger head cases on the dance floor right in front of the band. We werent without our little mishaps- Sophies bass amp blew on the first song, so we had to re route her through the monitors.My microphone had a feather response on/off switch. If you breathed on it or thought about touching it, it went offBut it was a great gig and because of my lovely in-ear monitors (little ear phones that give you your voice on top of the band regardless of how loud they are on stage) I was able to keep my voice intact for the entire show. I danced my ass off. This is a good thing. We did an extraordinary version of Sex Machine for the encore which, at one point had everyone lying on the floor cos if you wanna get up you gots to git all the way downFab, fab, fab show. Anyhoo, on Monday I had a long voice over recording for a new kids show called Animal Spies . a mixture of animated and live action footage of exotic animals in their natural habitat.
