All the Open University stuff arrived at the end of last week. All of it, damn you! The course Im doing this year is A215, creative writing. Theres a massive course book Creative Writing edited by Linda Anderson. Its an incredibly useful book, Ive already used to stand on to reach a book that was on the top shelf in my office. All the other stuff comes with it, a book about How to submit essays electronically, I hope they mean sending them via e mail. Be weird if you had to try and connect your essay somehow to the mains and flip a switch Try it now anything? No must be the wrong adapter And then you get thecourse guide which gives you lots of tips about how to actually get through the year without throwing yourself from a high building. Things like, Study and Revise are in there, but also Dont just bugger off down the pub with your mates when youre supposed to be doing the work and also you said you could do it when you applied Wise words indeed. Im looking forward to this years course, I have to produce lots of little bits of writing, fiction, short stories and the like. If any of em feel right I might post them on the site, and you can pour scorn on them from a great height. (You cant wait can you?)
