Wow.
Saw Daniel Kitson at South Hill Park Arts Centre in Bracknell.
He is the lyrical grandmaster; a comedic poet, able to encapsulate the sum of his fears and all of his insecurities within the text of a self deprecating one liner. He is Dickensian in his scope, and almost onomatopeiac in his ability to free form within a written context, improvising
upon already established themes, topping already established punchlines, pushing himself further and ever further in the pursuit of a perfect moment.
It was humbling to watch.
Daniel Kitson - I salute you; you rocked - and the wife and I were there... AND my mate Barrie gave you a lift to the station...
