Hola my compadres! Sit yourself down, oil your skin with body butter ('I can't believe its not Body Butter' will do) and kick back as I welcome you to Phase 2 of my Cyber adventure...
What's that smell baby? Is that excitement? Is that adrenaline? Or shall we just blame it on the dog like we normally do? The thing is, lennyhenry.com phase one was a very cool thing indeed, loads of hits, interest, excitement and praise and that was just for the picture of me dressed as Beyonce. I love that you like the site so much, but I know you're going to plotz when you see some of the new things we've got lined up for you. We've still got the blogs, and the picture gallery and all that stuff, we'll keep updating the comedy bits and I promise to keep you informed as to what's going on in my life and work until you can't take no more. Welcome and enjoy!!!
I was at a comedy club in Crouch End last week, Thursday night as is my wont at the moment.
Sorry there's been a blog blight - I've just moved house and I've been up in Yorkshire attending casting sessions for othello and all sorts , so excuse the lack of communication.
So, I did two gigs last night in preparation for Live at the Apollo; the first one was at a place called Ginglik ,which is a converted Gentlemen's convenience in Shepherd's bush
Thank you Lenny for making me laugh so much at your gig - Newcastle, NSW, 06.08. I wondered how the passing of time may have affected your performance. I've been attending your gigs over a period of 25 years and my verdict is that you're slicker, funnier (whoever would have thought that possible!) and cleverer - borderline genius! I would have loved to have wasted just a few minutes of your time after the show but that was not to be. Thank you again Lenny for enabling me to be in the audience of what is probably the funniest and most intelligent gig in the western world. Well done! Your faithful fan of some 30 years... Alexandra
Hiya Just wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed your show on Thursday night in Adelaide, very refreshing to see a comedian we can relate to and enjoy thoroughly. Been in Adelaide for four years, originally from Nottingham and it was great to see you!!!

The Independent.
The self-styled King of Pop turns 50 tomorrow. Lenny Henry offers a personal birthday greeting
"BACK in Australia for a fifth time, British comic Lenny Henry is asking audiences where they're from.
And as he mellows towards his 50th birthday next month, he's also telling us where he has been."
